Dr. Chris is not the typical Chiropractic Physician, he believes in utilizing chiropractic adjustments for functional purposes to increase movement and therefore improve performance. Working with the active population he will implement the necessary combination of evidence-based techniques for injury prevention, corrective exercise, physical rehabilitation, chiropractic, biomechanics, strength training, improved balance and proprioception, and soft tissue mobilization.

Dr. Chris Blonk, DC, MS, ATC, CPT

Dr. Chris Blonk is a board-certified Doctor of Chiropractic with advanced expertise in sports medicine, rehabilitation, and human performance. He is nationally certified in Physiotherapy and Athletic Training, and is a Personal Trainer dedicated to helping patients recover from injury, optimize movement, and achieve peak physical performance.

Dr. Blonk earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree, Master of Science in Sports Medicine, and Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from the University of Western States. He also holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Athletic Training and Kinesiological Sciences from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

His diverse clinical background spans sports medicine, rehabilitation, personal injury care, and performance training. Dr. Blonk completed his doctoral internship with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, providing care to veterans at the Portland and Vancouver VA Medical Centers. In 2021, he was selected to serve on the medical staff for the U.S. Olympic Team Trials – Track & Field, where he helped support elite athletes competing at the highest level.

Before becoming a chiropractor, Dr. Blonk worked as a certified athletic trainer with NCAA Division I athletic programs at UNLV, including football, baseball, and women's soccer. He has also provided care for professional mixed martial arts athletes, high school competitors, and active individuals while collaborating closely with orthopedic surgeons, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals. This multidisciplinary experience allows him to develop comprehensive, evidence-informed treatment plans tailored to each patient's goals.

Today, Dr. Blonk combines hands-on chiropractic care, rehabilitation, corrective exercise, and performance training to help patients recover from injury, reduce pain, improve function, and return confidently to the activities they enjoy. Whether treating athletes striving for peak performance, individuals recovering from motor vehicle accidents, or patients seeking to move and feel better in everyday life, his approach emphasizes personalized care, education, and long-term wellness.

A former collegiate soccer player and proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Dr. Blonk understands firsthand the physical demands of sport, service, and an active lifestyle. Outside the clinic, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Johanna, and their two children.
